When looking at my hummingbirds I see them going in and out with their long beaks, do they slurp it out or suck it out? Do they have tongues?

Do Hummingbirds visit the feeders during a specific time of the day?
June 4th, 2011 admin I’ve added the red feeder with the sugar mixture and I’ve counted about 5 different hummingbirds when I go out in the mornings and watch for awhile. I haven’t really seen any throughout the day or in the evenings. Do they come out only in the mornings?

Is it possible to have hummingbirds your home?
May 21st, 2011 admin I was wondering if I had a huge greenhouse added onto my house, with a ton of tropical vegetation, would it be legal to have the hummingbirds in my home, to keep them safe.
My humming bird nest was partly destroyed and the two eggs were broken. Would the mother returnn to the nest?

May 7th, 2011 admin I just got 3 humingbird feeders tonight and I am hoping to attract some birds. I filled them with the red concentrates that you buy at the store. I mixed it with water properly and filled the feeders. Should I be using the water and sugar method?
